The Water Tower hosted the Annual National Backflow Prevention Day Celebration, on August 15th, 2024. This event brought together more than 100 industry professionals, speakers, exhibitors and water safety advocates. This impressive turnout demonstrated the increasing recognition of backflow prevention’s importance in protecting our water supply from contamination.

With more than 10 exhibitors present, attendees had ample opportunities to network and explore the latest technologies. They engaged with hands-on demonstrations, and various resources available throughout the exhibit hall.

During this event, attendees also had the opportunity to earn continuing education credits. The majority took advantage of this opportunity to enhance their professional skills and stay up to date with the latest in backflow prevention technologies and regulations. These educational sessions covered topics such as increasing ROI from installation to maintenance, emerging trends, best practices and soft skills development. Additionally, participants were offered a complimentary calibration of test kits offered by American Backflow Products.
