The Water Tower hosted our first ever H2GO Run Like Water 5K, a unique race that brought participants right through the heart of the award-winning F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center on November 16, 2024! With 165 runners and sponsored by 21 incredible organizations, the event wasn’t just about lacing up for a run—it was about making a difference in the world of water.
What made this 5K special? The racecourse took runners through the water resources center, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the incredible process of transforming wastewater into clean, safe water.
As runners made their way through the course, they passed signs along the route that explained different parts of the facility, giving them a chance to learn about the inner workings while they ran.
