Together with our partners at GoHub, an international open innovation hub by GoAigua, we are excited to announce the launch of The Ultimate Water Challenge – a 6-month program aimed at creating an ecosystem of innovation and technology sharing between startups, vendors, and pilot sites in the United States.
Entrepreneurs with early-stage companies leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), robotics, and other water solutions should apply. Winners will receive:
Winners will not only be mentored by GoHub and The Water Tower leaders, but also by industry experts from cutting-edge technology companies and universities like GoAigua, Siemens, University of Michigan, and more.
The Ultimate Water Challenge seeks to support entrepreneurial efforts in three key areas: improving the capture and treatment of stormwater, reducing energy consumption, and improving population health through wastewater surveillance.
Applications will be accepted through August 1, 2021 and winners will be announced on September 1, 2021. Pilot programs will begin on November 1, 2021.

Our vision is to lead the industry in demonstrating both on-the-ground and digital technology in real-time using actual process flows – the best way to vet performance of innovative equipment and processes. Technology providers have access to three live flows from F. Wayne HIll Water Resources Center, including primary influent, secondary effluent, and advanced treated reuse.
The Water Tower's technology validation program provides independent, third party, expert review of technologies against their advertised metrics. For each technology, an expert panel of world-wide experts in the field will evaluate testing protocols and outcomes. The result is an independent validation certification from The Water Tower to show interested consumers and gain credibility in the water industry.
Although our campus construction is not yet finished, our demonstration and validation programs and up and running. With access to all of Gwinnett County's assets, we have demonstrations currently underway in the ground and connected to flows.
Benefits of demonstration at The Water Tower include access to state of the art facilities and real flows, TWT staff support for testing and analysis, exposure to our partners, utilities, incoming water and wastewater operators, and other organizations located on TWT campus, and more.
Pricing for technology demonstration and validation is offered as an a la carte menu of options. Please contact Chad Wilbanks at firstname.lastname@example.org for pricing information. To apply to demonstrate your technology at The Water Tower, complete the 'Tech Demo Application' at the top of this page.
